Tamara (Tami) Schow, MA, LPC
Tami has a strong desire to support individuals, couples and families untangle themselves from unhealthy patterns, heal wounds and find their unique purpose (Hebrews 12:1).

Tami obtained her Master’s Degree in Counseling at Dallas Baptist University. She completed her counseling practicum at the Meier Clinics in Richardson, where she gained valuable experience in working with individuals, couples, families and groups. She offers a safe therapeutic relationship built on trust, grace and a collaborative development of goals and strategies. Tami uses a variety of techniques specific to each client’s need in order to work with them to reach their goals. Her experience includes: anxiety, panic, depression, marital reconciliation, family and parenting concerns, adult and child divorce recovery, intimacy and pornography issues, work-life stress, family of origin issues, shame, grief/loss, shyness, self-concept improvement, healthy boundary development and spiritual issues.
Tami and her husband have been married for over 20 years. They are delighted to be the parents of two wonderful girls. In addition to their participation in their daughters’ activities, they are involved in their church and have served in various ministries. Tami’s previous work experience provides her with a varied perspective. She has a B.S. in Marketing and enjoyed a productive career in the business arena. On the other side of the spectrum, she has worked in preschools guiding little ones with patience and love. Throughout the many seasons of her life Tami has watched the individual ways in which people face life with its troubles and triumphs. She has marveled at how God has woven each person uniquely and she looks forward to supporting you in your journey.
