Courtney Dillon is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Courtney graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University with her MS in Counseling/Psychology. During her graduate practicum, she worked at Townsell Elementary in Irving, Texas. There Courtney provided play therapy and group counseling services for children.
Courtney looks forward to joining you in the journey of counseling. Her passion is to help children and their families through difficult processes. Her goal is to assist individuals, couples and families in learning to live healthy and fulfilling lives. She believes a counselor should be a trusted partner for you and/or your family. When working with children, Courtney views every child holistically an as a unique individual. She will diligently work to reach each child on his or her developmental level by incorporating play therapy, art therapy and sand tray therapy and by using an integrative approach specific to each client’s needs. Through her education and life experiences, Courtney hopes to assist you in your counseling needs.
Courtney and her husband have been married since 2009 and reside in Little Elm. They happily parent one son who is their pride and joy.
Counseling with children, adolescents, group counseling, parent coaching, premarital counseling and individual adult counseling. Issues addressed include anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger, behavioral struggles, high-functioning autism, stress/life transitions, low self-esteem and divorce and family discord.
